New 48 design for fast patrol or fish

Using the same proven platform this simple 48 ft design can take on many permutations. Powered by twin MAN R6-800s top speed is in the low 60s. The design is buildable in composite or alumimium with equal ease as all surfaces are developable. A superlative day boat that is equally suited to deep water fishing or high speed blue water patrol use. Styling by David Bentley.
Northwest Aluminium Craft 32 Launched
Designed to match their traditional mono hull line Northwest Aluminium Craft of Victoria, BC have just launched this ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’. On her first run she hit the magic 50 mph (44.5 knot) figure and that’s with no set up and standard 3 bladed props driven by twin Suzuki 300s. The hulls are asymmetric with twin steps and a 20 degree dead rise making this boat an incredible ride with amazing efficiency. See how flat the wake is? Otherwise her job is fishing with a full walk around cabin and all the amenities needed for a great day on the water.
Jutson 75 hits the water in Trinidad
Built on the island of Trinidad over a period of several years this Jutson 75 design is now on the move. Powered by twin MAN 800s the vessel has a top speed of 24 knots and a cruising range of up to 2000 nm. Like all our cats optinal cruising occurs in the 14-17 knot range so long distances are gobbled up while fast moving weather systems are left behind. All this with less fuel consumption than our trawler yacht friends are using at their sub 10 knot cruise speed. Call or email for more information.
